Amber Lakin
Why should you call me? I am Amber Lakin and I have had a passion for working with seniors since I was a care facility volunteer in grade school. I enjoy using my knowledge and over 10 years’ experience within senior care in Lexington to work with families and help them navigate what can be an exceedingly difficult process with many moving parts.
In my past, I have worked for the Alzheimer’s Association as well as levels of senior living care including independent living, assisted living/personal care and memory care. I have served on the board of directors for the Sanders-Brown Center on Aging Foundation and ITN Bluegrass among others.
I helped found a 5k run/walk along with two other friends that has raised over $25,000 to date to support Alzheimer’s research. I served on the Bluegrass Elder Abuse Prevention Council for 3 years and helped bring their first annual conference to our community.
Enriching the lives of our aging population here in Lexington is more than a job to me, it is my calling. Let me help you find your way through this process with your loved one. Call me today.
