Caregiver Coffee Break – Each month you can join us in a relaxing environment to learn about resources available to you in the community and discover ways to cope and renew.
Empowerment Series for Women with Cancer – This class is open to all women who have been diagnosed with cancer regardless of where they are being treated. The series of programs provide the tools and encouragement needed to live life to the fullest.
The group meets the second Tuesday of each month October through May. To register or find out more, call 859.260.4357.
The “Life with Diabetes” program at Baptist Health Lexington is recognized by the American Diabetes Association as meeting or exceeding national standards.
Classes are taught by certified diabetes educators, registered nurses, registered dietitians, certified personal trainers and motivational and stress counselors. The class setting provides excellent support for people who need to learn diabetes self-management skills. After completion of classes or sessions, a follow-up plan is developed to keep in touch with the person. Both day and evening classes and sessions are available at our convenient location: Lexington Green Mall 161 Lexington Green Circle. Multiple Sclerosis (MS)
“Learn to Fly” MS Support Group – This support group is open to anyone diagnosed with MS as well as family members and caregivers. Meetings are every third Monday of each month from 6-7:30 p.m. in Room E of Baptist Health Lexington’s Education Center, located in the lower level of the hospital’s 1720 Building.
