My name is Susan Neville and I founded Silver Lexington Senior Living Placement Service almost two years ago . After working in the senior living industry for the last 10 years, I saw a need for seniors and their families. The process of finding the appropriate senior living community can be confusing, time consuming as well as there are so many communities that offer different kinds of assistance. That is why I started Silver Lexington. I want to help families navigate through the process. My goal is to meet with the family, determine their goals, wants, needs, likes and dislikes of my clients, budget and then based on that I can give 2 or 3 communities that I think would be a good fit for my client and then they can go tour and plan for next steps. Another great advantage that I have is that I have lived in Lexington for 44 years, I know the senior community well and I have a deep passion for helping seniors. I am the current President of the Board for the Bluegrass Aging Consortium and have been for the past three years. Investing in a local business is a thousand times better that going online and connecting with a referral agency that is in a different state and most likely has never even been to any of our communities. When working with Silver Lexington I can be as involved as you need. I can set up the tours, I can join you in your tours or simply provide you with the information that you need to get started. Often your aging loved one isn’t big on the idea of selling their home, moving to a new place and that is when Silver Lexington can come in and be a neutral third party and discuss options and the advantages that a senior living community has to offer. It is a process and more times than not it isn’t a quick process, so the sooner you start the better. You don’t have to be overwhelmed with the process of looking for placement for yourself or aging loved one. I am here to assist you if you need independent living, assisted living, personal care, Alzheimer’s, in home care or respite, I am here for you. I don’t do nursing home or subsidized placement, however if you have some general questions feel free to give me a call. I am looking forward to working with you.
“Thanks, Susan. We really appreciated you taking the time to walk us through this process. We found the information, suggestions and ideas you provided to be very comforting and informative.” Pat
